Delete the first three seconds & watch it back

Most videos open with a runway instead of a hook. Somebody adjusting the camera, saying hi, explaining what they are about to explain. Film your next one as normal, cut the first three seconds, and if it still makes sense, those seconds were never doing anything except giving people permission to leave.

When a client goes quiet it almost never means they are unhappy

It usually means answering you became one more thing on a list that was already too long. The instinct is to follow up with more context and more options, which is exactly backwards, because you just made the reply harder than it was before. The thing that works is making the reply cost almost nothing. One question, one decision, no paragraphs.
